Description
A Technical Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing operation of specialty programs including documenting standards and processes to be used in any future projects and programs. This will require collaboration and coordination with the customer, sales, finance, engineering, quality, leadership and operations teams to ensure that all stakeholders are represented in program decisions, receive relevant program information and reports and their concerns are fully and properly addressed. The Technical Program Manager may also be responsible for project management of changes or efforts as required by the company and may participate in corporate task forces to accomplish major goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Solicit, capture and develop program and project goals
  • Create work breakdown structures (WBS) for those goals
  • Track assigned work to completion
  • Document and escalate risk and issues as the develop
  • Review budgets and financial projections for the program with finance team
  • Ensure program conformance to contract requirements
  • Effectively communicate with program and project stakeholders
  • Prepare and present status and governance reports & reviews
  • Develop and monitor program KPIs to ensure performance
  • Coordinates program related ECO requests with engineering
  • Work with the automation team to improve program efficiency
  • Other management duties assigned as needed
