Urgent Care Program Manager
Join our team at The Front Porch Urgent Care Center! As a Program Coordinator, you'll work under the guidance of the Director of Emergency Services to administer, coordinate, and manage programs and services in the Newport area. Your responsibilities will include providing direct client service, clinical and administrative supervision, budgetary management, policy and procedure oversight, and participation in quality control initiatives. NKHS is a 501(c)(3) private not-for-profit organization operating with the purpose of promoting high quality, comprehensive community mental health programs in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities by promoting hope, healing, and support. NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
  • Supervises Front Porch staff clinically and administratively, managing on-call services and schedules, and facilitating staff meetings.
  • Audits and authorizes staff services in the electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
  • Evaluates staff performance, providing recommendations for enhancement and reporting on effectiveness.
  • Reviews documentation of Urgent Care staff, ensuring services meet standards and deadlines.
  • Assists in program budgeting and financial monitoring, overseeing state grants and contracts.
  • Provides situational coverage as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires Master's degree and applicable experience, and willing to work towards Licensure.(LCMHC)
  • Must be State QMHP certified or gain certification within six months of assuming position. Certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor is desirable but not required (CADC or LADC).
  • Also requires at least 4 years mental health field experience at a professional level.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Must successfully complete Agency Background checks and have reliable transportation, appropriate vehicle insurance ($100,000/$300,000) and a valid driver's license.

SALARY & BENEFITS
  • Competitive Salary starting at $60,000 to $80,000.
