Job description

You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager - Program Management (APM-PM) in the Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) program office of Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Marine Corps (PAE-MC).Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade NH-03 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Mastery level knowledge and skill in the Defense Acquisition System. Includes knowledge of key activities and documentation requirements of each phase of the acquisition life cycle for all categories of programs; supporting and/or managing multiple projects/programs through the acquisition life cycle.
- Knowledge and experience monitoring members of the program management functional area engaged in Defense Acquisition program activities, including fostering positive working relationships and serving in a mentorship role for members of the program office.
- Experience in strategic planning activities, and experience contributing to the development and improvement of work processes that shape how team members manage assigned projects and programs.
