Position Overview

This Senior Capture Manager will join Dignitas, a By Light company, team with ownership over business lines in new market areas for Dignitas that align our strategic objectives. This position will report to the Business Development Lead and will work with Capture Executives, Proposal Manager, SMEs, Program Managers, external customers, and partners within industry.

The Senior Capture Manager will identify, qualify, and capture opportunities for Dignitas Technologies primarily for Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Federal Agencies. This role may also require development activities that promote revenue growth from commercial opportunities and foreign markets. The position will focus on expanding market reach and support diversification beyond Dignitas' existing DoD customers. ย This role requires experience leveraging relationships and knowledge of how federal agencies provide opportunities for private industry participation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate foresight in areas where Dignitas can shape a solicitation prior to release. Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate knowledge about government acquisition across the agencies to position the firm for long-term initiatives that align to strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead generation and qualification
  • Opportunity tracking, reporting, and management
  • Interpretation and translation of customer requirementsย 
  • Conduct capture for opportunities, to include attending Industry Days, teaming discussions, solutioning, strategic positioning, etc.
  • Interface with BD, SMEs, Program Managers, Contracts, and Security teams, including subcontractors and suppliersย 
  • Significantly contribute to proposal responses
  • Attend industry and Government meetings, industry days, and conferences (travel is required)
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with multi-discipline solutioning for DoD and civilian communities
  • 10+ years of experience with the direct management of acquisition center relationships
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD business development with government contracts in technology or mission services and solutions
  • Knowledge and familiarity of US government acquisition processes (FAR, OTA, SBIR/STTR, etc.)
  • Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and lead without oversight
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Possession of independent opportunity management and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
