Program Operations Analyst

Huntsville, AL or Tampa, FL - Onsite

Position Summary:

The Program Operations Analyst supports program operations by tracking deliverables, monitoring compliance, and maintaining documentation, and works with program teams to ensure requirements are met and processes run efficiently.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct labor utilization and staffing analysis to support informed workforce planning decisions.
  • Track vacancies and maintain alignment between labor categories, position authorizations, and actual staffing.
  • Monitor headcount against authorized staffing levels and flag discrepancies to the Program Manager.
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and trend analyses for program leadership review.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reports for government and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with HR and recruiting functions to align workforce data with program requirements.
  • Support development and maintenance of staffing plans and labor forecasting models.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program operations, workforce analytics, or management support within a federal contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); experience building dashboards or reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings to program leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience (if applicable):

  • Experience with workforce planning tools, HRIS platforms, or contract labor tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with federal contract staffing requirements and labor category management.
  • Experience supporting PMO operations in a law enforcement or government services environment.
