Job description

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FORCE PERSONNEL(N1), of COMNAVAIRLANT.Qualifications:To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience developing staffing requirements, priorities, recruiting strategies, and budget requirements for all positions.
  • Experience working with computer systems and associated word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and database software.
  • Experience in applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness, complex management processes and systems.
  • Experience analyzing workforce issues, programs, and policies and ability to interpret regulations and policies and determine impact.
  • Experience collaborating with supervisors/managers in preparing position descriptions (PD) for classification and processing necessary paperwork to execute numerous personnel actions for all command needs.
  • Experience initiating and tracking all Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs), which includes reviewing and tracking all position descriptions submitted for approval.
  • Experience providing advice for the following actions, including management options and alternatives regarding recruitment, analysis, reorganizations, realignments and reshaping/downsizing.
  • Experience serving as a liaison between management, HRO, and OCHR Operations Centers.
  • Experience reviewing and verifying the accuracy of information on all Requests for Personnel Actions (SF-52), and amendments to PDs.
  • Experience advising on matters relating to position management and position classification.
