Pay: Base Wage starting at $27.29; increased based on experience

Incentive Eligible Position: Yes


Essential Functions:

  • Write up incoming intakes. Review labs, UDS, radiology reports, nursing notes, H & P, affidavits, acuity, and any additional information.
  • Review incoming intakes with psychiatrist.
  • Correspond with outlying facilities regarding bed availability.
  • Organize intakes into appropriate folders in Odin.
  • Complete monthly EMTALA log.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.
  • Ability to identify those who need help.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical equations.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. 

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.
  • Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • BLS and NCI within 90 days of employment, renewed bi-annually / annually. 
  • GED, High School Diploma or relevant training/experience. 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Healthcare Experience preferred.
