They understand how early planning decisions influence downstream execution and can translate incomplete or evolving information into structured, riskaware planning deliverables. A key strength of this candidate is their ability to coordinate effectively across Engineering, Projects, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholder organizations. Position develops contract terms and conditions for implementation and execution work associated within their assigned projects, tasks, and workorders (their purview).

Position provides the oversite and performance management for the contract and staff augmented employees under their purview. Position directs or performs planning and estimation tasks for projects and workorders within their purview, ensuring quality product delivery. Principal Accountabilities Serve as the technical subject matter expert for field work job safety, execution requirements, financial planning, human performance, and operational risk. Responsible for performing or reviewing estimates for assigned work (conceptual, design, and or implementation). Responsible for field work activities for safety, standardization, quality, and housekeeping compliance.

Responsible for the assigned activities related to programmatic requirements such as, safety manual, fatigue rule, asbestos abatement, Appendix R, scaffolding, painting programs, etc. When applicable, responsible for and performs field observations of work and documents in approved observation database; ensures appropriate issues are captured in CAP; and provides input for appropriate actions and completion of actions to support exemplary performance of department. Develop project or work requirements to ensure implementation success.

Ensure design packages are implemented in a manner that is standard and consistent with the fleet approach, which meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Review the scope, cost, and schedule of assigned work. Provide status and solutions, with emphasis on early identification of problem areas for assigned work.

Develop implementation solutions in an efficient and innovative manner which meets operational and technical requirements as well as ensuring ease of maintenance and operability. Coordinates with members of the integrated joint project/work teams to plan, scope, and estimate work across all phases within their purview. Identify and obtain resources required to support estimation, work requirements, planning, and implementation.

Administer, manage, and maintain responsibility for all contractors who will perform services on assigned work. Develop and review change documents to obtain approval for scope funding and schedule changes. Ensure additional contract partners are aligned for support of work to ensure budget and schedule/milestone adherence.

Review and provide recommendations for technical sections of proposals during competitive bidding process. Provide approved contractor work release forms, prior to initiation of work, and control spending on each. Provide the contractor with an approved copy of the work document, funding estimates, and schedule associated with the assigned work.

Present the modifications data and input at design review meetings during the design phase of assigned work. Provide the implementation input for project scoping document, engineering study, or engineering scoping document from the study phase thru to implementation phase on any assigned projects. Review and approve supplemental oversight plans and safety plans.

Serve as CTS (contract technical steward) and or FIA (field invoice approver) when requested for assigned work. Ensures compliance to the Adverse Employment Actions process for work within their purview and provides input and documentation to support this process when necessary. Support Outage or Project Control Center and Emergent Issue Management.

Perform other duties, as assigned. Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements below meet or exceed ANSI/ANS 3.1-2014 standards. Education - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science, completion of 4-year craft apprenticeship or equivalent based on experience in nuclear power field, including 2 years power plant experience, 1 year nuclear power plant experience, and 0.25 year on-site experience

Shall have nondestructive testing familiarity, craft knowledge, and an understanding of electrical, pressure vessel, and piping codes and standards. Experience - The incumbent should possess a minimum of at least 8 years' experience in the field of nuclear plant modification, maintenance, design, operation, or quality assurance. Should have prior supervisory experience in maintenance, modifications, projects, site services, or planning and technical activities.

Certification/License, etc - Must obtain and maintain requirements for nuclear plant unescorted plant access, must complete requirements for TVA FLS, FLDP. Must be able and willing to assume "on-call" rotational assignments which may include 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week availability, and serve as Sr. Implementation Manager when requested.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must possess a basic knowledge of engineering or maintenance principles and an extensive knowledge of nuclear plant's design and construction.
