Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading provider of environmental construction, demolition and abatement, asset recovery, specialty transportation, industrial services and waste management services.

POSITION: Project Manager

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE

BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Houston, Texas with 100% travel
SUMMARY: The Project Manager role is responsible for selling services with clients, creating new client opportunities, and executing significant projects.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sells services with clients and create new client opportunities through managing and executing significant projects
  • Maintains overall accountability for assigned projects including safety program implementation, P&L, project execution and success
  • Manages project from inception through completion including estimating, contract negotiations, execution of work, tracking costs, managing budgets, working with client reps for contract compliance including change orders, addendums and retention releases
  • Produces submittal-ready client correspondence and materials
  • Mentors project staff and works with a General Superintendent to identify mentoring and advancement opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • 5 years or more of experience as a Jr. Project Manager or 10 years or more of field experience in various service lines in the environmental construction industry
  • HAZWOPER certification required as well as basic construction safety courses outlined in the training matrix.
