Job Description:
The L3Harris Intel Programs team develops solutions to the Nation's hardest mission needs and matures them from technology to the field. The role of the Program Finance Manager is to partner with the product line Director to develop financial strategies, implement program finance best practices, and lead a team of Program Finance Analysts in support of needs in this domain.

This role requires a proactive mindset, with the ability to develop plans to optimize financial performance. Extensive collaboration with the product line Director and functional team counterparts in Contracts Management, Engineering, Business Development, and Supply Chain Management will be a key to success.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the PL Director to align financial plans with strategic objectives
  • Develop and drive strategies for Revenue and Profit growth in the Intel Programs PL 
  • Champion best practices regarding EVMS, financial forecasting, and program execution
  • Identify and communicate key financial opportunities & risks. Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to influence positive financial outcomes.
  • Shape business case structures on new business pursuits
  • Coordinate monthly program financial reporting and forecasting cycles
  • Foster a growth-oriented culture with regard to change leadership and PFA career development
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to recognize trends and circumstances that present financial risks or opportunities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with financial forecasting, whether in Program Finance or an FP&A role
  • Experience with financial ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, CostPoint, or SAP
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with US Government FAR program finance
  • Experience in a centralized FP&A role
