Oracle Financial Systems Developer

Location: Richmond, VA (100% Onsite)

Pay: $78-$83ย per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Astyra Corporation is seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Systems Developer to join our client's technology team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Financial applications while working alongside business leaders and technical teams to deliver solutions that improve financial operations and system performance.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations within Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financial modules.
  • Support Oracle Financial applications including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Custom financial applications and processes
  • Develop and maintain:
  • PL/SQL packages
  • Procedures
  • Functions
  • Triggers
  • Oracle Forms
  • Oracle Reports
  • BI Publisher reports
  • Analyze business requirements and collaborate with functional teams to design and implement technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
  • Develop and support interfaces using APIs, Web Services, and flat-file integrations.
  • Coordinate Oracle application updates and enhancements with Database Administrators.
  • Participate in system testing, deployments, code reviews, and post-production support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system enhancements and development activities.
  • Ensure solutions follow secure coding standards, change management procedures, and IT governance policies.
  • Collaborate with DBAs, system administrators, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to maintain a stable, high-performing environment.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • PL/SQL
  • Oracle Forms
  • Oracle Reports
  • BI Publisher
  • TOAD
  • Experience developing Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing APIs, Web Services, and flat-file integrations.
  • Strong SQL and Oracle database development skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise Oracle Financial environments.
