Automotive Sales Consultant

This position is one where we truly want you to BE YOU! No automotive sales experience necessary. Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer purchasing experience. The Sales Associate will ensure the customer receives all the information they are looking for, as well as presenting brand specific knowledge on New and Pre-owned vehicles while assisting in their buying decision. Utilize our CRM System to ensure timely, professional follow-up and to maintain strong relationships with sold and prospective customers.

Job Description:
  • Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
  • Gather customer contact & interest information from new customers and accurately enter in the CRM.
  • Maintaining rapport with previous and potential customers by suggesting trade-ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions, and following up on all leads from various sources
  • Professional product presentations to all customers by demonstrating knowledge of characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties and services
  • Continuously build knowledge of new and updated product information
  • Offer and accompany customers on demonstration ride(s)
  • Schedule and maintain your own calendar for customer appointments and/or follow ups
  • Attend and actively participate in daily sales/training meetings to assist in reaching individual and department goals
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of our inventory on the display lots and showrooms.
  • Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing, collects payment, delivers vehicle if applicable
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
