The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in senior living operations and a deep understanding of the regulatory, clinical, and resident-care intricacies that come with leading an assisted living and/or memory care community.
Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, the Executive Director will be responsible for day-to-day operations including service provision, financial performance, human resources, licensure compliance, clinical oversight, sales, marketing, and census development. • Partner with Executive Leadership to develop strategic business plans and operating budgets that drive financial performance
  • Lead, mentor, and hold the community leadership team accountable for achieving operational and organizational goals
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing leadership team
  • Oversee quality initiatives to ensure continuous improvement across all aspects of care delivery
  • Maintain full compliance with licensure, accreditation, and all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Be a visible, engaged presence in the community - spending meaningful time daily with residents and team members
  • Drive sales and census development through active participation in sales activities and partnership with the Sales Director
  • Serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, and associates
  • Build positive relationships with the broader community, including referral sources and local business leaders

What You Bring
  • A genuine passion for serving and advocating for seniors
  • 3-5+ years of management experience in senior living (assisted living and/or memory care strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Valid Administrator license
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, P&Ls, and operating expenses
  • Working knowledge of senior living regulations, risk management, and best practices
  • Proven track record of improving key performance metrics: safety, quality of care, resident satisfaction, and employee engagement
  • Healthcare or senior living sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying schedules as needed

Why Pegasus Senior Living?
  • Competitive salary plus bonus potential of up to 25% of annual salary based on achieving community performance targets
  • Comprehensive benefits package:
    • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Career growth opportunities within a growing organization
  • A supportive, mission-driven culture where you're known by name
