Job description

Office Coordinator
Posting Summary
Provide administrative, office management, and programmatic support to the Office of the Vice Provost for Intercultural Excellence ( OVPIE ). Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to the VP IE, Business Manager/Event Coordinator, and other staff to support the work of the Division's intercultural centers and programs: Interfaith Center (IC), Mosaic Intercultural Center ( MIC ), the Prism Intercultural Center ( WAGE , Prism @UVM, and Men & Masculinities). Deliver high-quality transactional support to stakeholders in a dynamic, high-volume, deadline-driven environment that includes frequently changing work and customer support demands. Serve as the primary facilities coordinator for the Allen House. This position reports to the Senior Executive Director of Intercultural Excellence.
Serve as the executive support for the Senior Director of Intercultural Centers & Director of the Interfaith Center. Serve as primary point of contact for the Director's calendars. Ensure that the Director is prepared for all aspects of the daily calendar and screen and route incoming phone calls, handle communications, and assist with signature and other events/programs support throughout the academic year. Serve as the facilities manager for the Allen House. Supervise student staff for The Office of the Vice Provost for Intercultural Excellence.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate degree or commensurate experience with one to three years of related experience required. Ability to effectively and respectfully navigate, communicate, and collaborate across various cultures and experiences. Demonstrate awareness and connection to issues of excellence, culture, and mattering. Effective communication, analytical, and team-collaboration skills required. Proficient in spreadsheets, database, word-processing applications, and communication technologies required. Attention to detail and effective organizational skills required. Ability to effectively perform duties within deadline-driven environment, with frequently changing customer demands required. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of university personnel, students, and members of the public required.

Anticipated Pay Range
$22.55/hour to $27.00/hour
