Our Inspire Connection Program Directors are responsible for:

Operational Performance

  • Ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains records and documentation per policy.
  • Assists RCD/GHD in training all Garden House Team Members.
  • Assists RCD/GHD in communicating with families regarding residents’ engagement.
  • Assists with evaluation of incoming residents and periodic re-evaluation to assure that interests are identified and activity needs are met.
  • With GM and GHD coordinates daily activity routine of the Garden House, including any specialized activities.
  • With ALPD, works on coordinating some activities/events all AL/IL and GH residents can be included in.
  • Plans, coordinates and participates in a variety of dementia-appropriate activities, social events, and outings for residents according to engagement program standards.
  • Orders supplies, schedules, and sets up all activities in the Garden House.
  • Provides GM and GHD with daily status reports on all Garden House residents.
  • Assists GHD with ensuring that the neighborhood is clean, orderly, and secure in all common and activity areas.
  • While working closely with the Garden House Team, the Program Director may provide assistance with housekeeping, laundry, meals, as appropriate.

Resident Satisfaction

  • Provides leadership in creating and maintaining the highest standards of Garden House activities.
  • Meets with residents and families regularly as directed.
  • Ensures that residents’ activity needs are being met with attention to individuality & dignity while maintaining an optimal level of functional ability in a professional and safe manner.
  • Ensures that the Garden House team is fully trained in the Inspire Connection activity program.
  • Acknowledge residents’ special days (i.e., anniversaries and birthdays). Arrange and coordinate diverse holiday celebrations.
  • Track resident activity participation and adjust calendar events accordingly.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct tours of the community when necessary.

If you are someone with:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Two years experience in Dementia care.
  • Senior living experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
