Job description

Oasis Habilitation is a growing DDD provider in New Jersey, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated Program Director to help lead our services, support daily operations, maintain compliance, and assist with agency growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in developmental disabilities services who understands both the operational side of running a quality program and the relationship‑building needed to grow a successful DDD agency.

We are especially interested in candidates who have experience working with Support Coordinators and Support Coordination agencies, understand how to build referral relationships, and can help bring new clients into the agency through professional outreach, strong communication, and consistent follow‑up.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with DSP onboarding, credentialing, training requirements, documentation, and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of DDD services
  • Supervise, train, and support DSPs and program staff
  • Ensure services are delivered according to DDD requirements, service plans, and agency standards
  • Monitor documentation, service delivery, schedules, staff performance, and compliance needs
  • Assist with DSP onboarding, credentialing, training requirements, and compliance tracking
  • Communicate professionally with families, guardians, Support Coordinators, staff, and referral partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with Support Coordination agencies and other referral sources
  • Assist with client intake, onboarding, and service coordination
  • Help grow the agency by identifying referral opportunities and following up with Support Coordinators and families
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts within the DDD community
  • Help resolve staffing, service, documentation, and compliance issues
  • Promote a positive, respectful, person‑centered culture
  • Support organizational growth and help improve internal systems and processes
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of NJ DDD services, documentation, compliance, and service delivery
  • Experience working with Support Coordinators and Support Coordination agencies
  • Experience helping a DDD provider grow through referrals, outreach, intake, or relationship‑building
  • Experience with DSP credentialing, onboarding, training requirements, and compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work professionally with families, staff, referral sources, and community partners
  • A dependable, warm, positive, and solution‑focused approach
  • Existing relationships with Support Coordinators, Support Coordination agencies, or DDD referral sources is strongly preferred
