Job description

The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Program Manager for our DMHAS program, located in Chicopee, MA.
YOUR ROLE AS A PROGRAM MANAGER:
The Program Manager provide clinical and residential and outreach management training and supervision to staff who work in support services for clients in need of psychiatric services.
REQUIRMENTS:
  • 3 years of experience in mental health treatment and or human service-related field with a focus on 24-hour residential treatment
  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field with an emphasis on mental health treatment is required
  • Master's degree in a mental health field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Program policy and procedure implementation and oversight of all residential responsibilities.
  • Monitoring the operations of the home including compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations program treatment implementation
  • Supervision of direct support professionals
  • Support staff with training of person-centered plans
  • Oversight of program administrative processes
  • Hiring, training, and overall management of the home
