Job description

As the Google Ecosystem Business Development Director, you are responsible for driving strategic growth across Accenture's Google business by originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities centered on Google's AI, Data, Customer Experience, Security, and Industry platforms.
You are a trusted advisor to clients, Google leadership, and Accenture account teams, bringing deep expertise across Google technologies including BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Code Assist, Customer Engagement Suite (CES), Looker, Apigee, Google Maps Platform, AlloyDB, Security Operations, and Mandiant.
You drive executive-level conversations focused on business transformation, AI adoption, data modernization, customer engagement, and industry reinvention while positioning the combined value of Google and Accenture.

Strategic Focus Areas

  • Agentic AI and Enterprise AI Transformation using Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, Agent Builder, and Google AI solutions.

  • Data-to-AI modernization leveraging BigQuery, BigLake, Dataplex, Looker, and modern data architectures.

  • Customer Engagement Suite (CES) transformation for customer service, contact center modernization, and conversational AI.

  • Cybersecurity transformation using Google Security Operations, Mandiant, threat intelligence, and cyber resilience solutions.

  • Industry-specific AI and digital transformation solutions across Travel, Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare, Communications, Media, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute joint Accenture-Google growth strategies and co-sell motions.

  • Build executive relationships with Google Partner Development Managers, Customer Engineers, Industry Leaders, and Account Teams.

  • Originate opportunities involving BigQuery modernization, enterprise data platforms, analytics transformation, and AI adoption.

  • Position Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise solutions to accelerate enterprise AI and agentic transformation initiatives.

  • Drive Customer Engagement Suite (CES) opportunities focused on customer experience, contact center transformation, and AI-powered service operations.

  • Identify opportunities involving Looker, Apigee, Google Maps Platform, AlloyDB, Security Operations, and Mandiant offerings.

  • Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions.

  • Develop business cases and ROI narratives that align technology investments to measurable business outcomes.

  • Influence Google leadership to position Accenture as the preferred transformation partner.

  • Create differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Google priorities.

  • Enable Accenture and Google field teams on joint value propositions and strategic growth plays.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience.

  • Minimum 10+ years of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience.

  • Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of AI, analytics, data, customer experience, or cybersecurity solutions.

  • Proven executive relationship management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, CES, Looker, Apigee, Google Maps Platform, AlloyDB, Security Operations, or Mandiant.

  • Experience leading AI, Generative AI, data modernization, analytics, or customer experience transformation initiatives.

  • Experience working with Global 2000 organizations.

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to engage CIOs, CDAOs, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and Line-of-Business leaders.
