Substation Designer
Overview
This opportunity is with a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering firm known for delivering large-scale power delivery projects across the U.S. They're looking to bring on an experienced Substation Designer, with a clear path to long-term stability and career growth.
You'll play a key role in supporting high-impact substation projects-working closely with engineers and construction teams to deliver detailed, high-quality physical designs that support grid reliability and modernization.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and review physical substation design deliverables including layouts, sections, elevations, and general arrangements
  • Interpret engineering inputs and apply sound technical judgment to design execution

  • Create and work within intelligent 3D models to improve accuracy and constructability
  • Perform material takeoffs, quantity estimates, and basic physical design calculations

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
