Position Overview

We're looking for a meticulous CAD Designer to assist our sales and manufacturing teams by producing precise and streamlined drawings. This position involves close teamwork with sales engineering and manufacturing planning groups to guarantee that designs align with functional, quality, and production standards.

Primary Duties

  • Convert product specs, images, and annotations into comprehensive CAD drawings.
  • Partner with sales and engineering staff to produce designs that satisfy customer performance expectations and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Build and update a repository of standard designs, drawings, and specs.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and organizational abilities to promote precision and productivity in design tasks.
  • Generate assemblies driven by sketches using SolidWorks.
  • Operate autonomously with little oversight to handle tasks and meet timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
  • Solid expertise in sheet metal design.
  • Familiarity with weldments and structural steel.
  • Capability to lift or move items up to 20 lbs., along with performing occasional physical activities (such as sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing).
