Our end client a large global R&D focused pharmaceutical organization is seeking to hire for the below role.
 
Job Title: Program Manager Oncology Data Lake - cBioPortal & Computational Workflows
Duration: 6 months plus
Location: Boston MA | Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite at clientโ€™s location in Cambridge MA)
Pay rate: $100/hourโ€“$115/hour W2 (negotiable)
 
Program Manager โ€“ ODL, cBioPortal & Computational Workflows
Drives end-to-end delivery of the ODL, cBioPortal, and computational workflows portfolioโ€”ensuring seamless integration of data pipelines, standardized data models, and automated workflows to enable scalable oncology analytics and AI-driven insights.
Location: On-site/Hybrid (Cambridge)
Key Focus Areas:
  • Program execution across ODL, cBioPortal, and workflow platforms
    Cross-platform integration (workflows โ†’ ODL โ†’ Redshift โ†’ cBioPortal)
    Data onboarding, harmonization, and automation delivery.
  • Stakeholder alignment (DD&T, OTAUs, Vendors)
    Governance, quality, and operational readiness.
  • Roadmap execution with incremental value delivery.
 
Positioning:
Leads the integrated data and workflow ecosystem to deliver a scalable, governed, and AI-ready oncology platform.
Required Capabilities:
  • Program delivery: Manage end-to-end execution across ODL, cBioPortal, and workflows
  • Data fundamentals: Understanding of ETL, pipelines, AWS HealthOmics, data lake/warehouse concepts
  • Integration: Ability to manage cross-platform data and workflow dependencies
  • Stakeholder mgmt: Align TAUs, engineering teams, and vendors
  • Governance & ops: Data governance, QC, and production readiness.
  • Communication: Clear, leadership-ready reporting
  • Strongly Desired Capabilities: Scientific domain: Oncology / omics data understanding
  • AI/analytics: Enable AI/LLM use cases on top of data platforms
  • Platform thinking: Drive reusable, scalable enterprise capabilities
    Adoption & Change Management
