The Opportunity:

When it comes to considering the costs of building and maintaining systems, you know there is more to it than parts and labor. That's why we need a cost analyst like you who can turn requirements into a complete finan cia l understanding for the Navy.
As a cost analyst, you're passionate about uncovering the story behind the numbers through diving into the root cause of a challenge, analyzing data, and developing recommendations that drive smarter decisions. We need an analyst like you to help our Navy clients solve complex problems and support program analysis and performance. On our team supporting Navy acquisitions, you'll evaluate data and develop analytical approaches to support cost estimation, finan cia l modeling, and program assessment. You'll help shape data-driven strategies using met hods such as statistical analysis, cost-benefit analysis, lifecycle cost estimation, and what-if scenario modeling, to deliver actionable insights.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with cost estimating, cost analysis, or finan cia l analysis
  • Experience with data collection and cost model development
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office products such as Excel or PowerPoint
  • Experience with the application of core competencies, including Work Breakdown Structures ( WBSs ) and inflation or escalation
  • Experience with analysis and estimates supporting government procurement and acquisition processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with management and business development
  • Experience with Micro sof t Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Ball, Python, R, or AI tools
  • Experience with leading a team, the training of junior staff, project management, or business development

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
