About the job

Title: Program Coordinator

Location: One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI


Hybrid schedule: Yes. Four days in office, one day remote.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Supervision: Reports to Administrator, Energy Efficiency Programs


General Statement of Duties: The Program Coordinator will play an integral role in helping to implement energy efficiency programs facilitated by the Office. This includes processing rebate applications, assisting in tracking federal reporting requirements, collecting and entering data in databases, and maintaining accurate records of valuable information for the Officeโ€™s federal home energy rebate programs. This role will also support Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative programs and assist other energy efficiency programs that may be implemented by the Office in the future.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field
  • Familiarity using Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Data entry experience or related office experience
  • Customer service experience


Duties and Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

  • Review and process invoices and program applications
  • Transfers data from online portal format to program spreadsheet
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Creates and updates spreadsheets with program data
  • Sorts and organizes data for reporting
  • Verifies data accuracy and organizes program information for internal use
  • Maintains applicant confidentiality and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Engages with applicants and assists with basic rebate and application questions
  • Create program marketing and outreach materials
