What You'll Do as a Residential Scheduler:
This is a full time, benefit eligible position at the Mishawaka location.
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Primary duties:
  • Use the When-To-Work (WTW) scheduling program
  • Coordination of 24/7 scheduling for C&A Residential Direct Care staff teams for 8 residential units, including add/delete employees, track trainings/PTO/overtime hours.
  • Identify shortages on the schedule and find coverage (moving staff from other units based on current ratio needs, contacting PRN/on-call staff, mandating OT based on protocol).
  • Communicate all mandated shifts, cancelled mandated shifts, unit switches, or other schedule changes directly to the staff involved via email and/or phone call.
  • Communicate any last minute needs to Program Coordinator or Campus Charge on duty for evening and/or weekend coverage needs.
  • Participate in all meetings related to scheduling including a weekly meeting with Program Coordinators on Tuesday mornings.
  • Coordinate with care facilitators and other members of residential clinical team for staffing needs regarding supervised visits, court appointments, doctor appointments, and other transportation needs.
  • Document all changes accurately, including on the weekly schedules, mandate lists, and any other pertinent forms
  • Train new employees how to use the system.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling software highly recommended.
