SUPERVISES: APCs and DSPs; in some programs, will also include Cook, RN, and/or LPN
STARTING WAGE: $45,000 – $55,000 per year, adjusted for relevant education and experience.

As a
Program Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the success of our program. You will safeguard the physical and emotional well-being of the individuals we serve while leading, mentoring, and supervising a dedicated team of program staff. This is a dynamic role that blends hands-on leadership, regulatory compliance, and community collaboration to ensure our program runs efficiently and aligns with ROI’s Core Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively train, supervise, and monitor program staff. Provide timely, constructive evaluations and foster a supportive team environment.

Ensure and safeguard the physical and emotional well-being of all individuals served within the program, keeping their individual plans of service at the forefront.

Oversee daily program operations, ensuring full compliance with agency policies, state, federal, and local laws, and licensing bodies.

Maintain efficient systems for human resources and agency financial expectations. Develop and manage accurate, timely billing and documentation systems.

Partner with support coordinators, behavior management committees, and external agencies to handle progress notes, data submissions, and documentation seamlessly.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. A college degree in Human Services or a related field is highly preferred.

3–5 years of proven leadership and supervisory experience in services dedicated to persons with disabilities.

A strong systems-approach and top-notch problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Superb multitasking abilities—you can handle several major projects concurrently without missing a beat.

A collaborative spirit ready to work alongside various human service and community organizations.

NOTE: Program Coordinator I: Manages one group home serving a total of 9 or less individuals OR manages 9 or less individuals and provides between 275 and 600* hours per week of Supported Living, CHCS, or Respite supports. Program Coordinator II: Manages one group home serving 10 or more individuals OR manages 10 or more individuals and provides between 750 and 1050* hours per week of Supported Living, CHCS, or Respite supports. Program Coordinator III: Manages 2 or more group homes serving a total of 11 or more individuals OR manages 11 or more individuals and provides between 1200 and 1500* hours per week of Supported Living, CHCS, or Respite supports.
