Program Leader for INSPIRE Team

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Program Leader to join our INSPIRE team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

The Stroke INSPIRE Program Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all Stroke INSPIRE programs, supports interdisciplinary stroke education, and ongoing Stroke INSPIRE program development to meet the needs of our customers. Team member demonstrates knowledge of stroke and the continuum of care and serves as liaison to the community and other departments or programs across HealthPartners. This includes frequent travel to various HealthPartners Hospitals and community events located throughout MN and western Wisconsin.

The Stroke INSPIRE Program Coordinator will communicate timely, clearly and in a professional manner with staff, patients, patient family members, physicians and other internal/external customers. Team member will demonstrate appropriate skills in listening, conflict management, problem solving, decision-making and process improvement.

The Stroke INSPIRE Program Coordinator is responsible for assuring that all Living our Values are achieved through daily departmental operations. This includes, but is not limited to, direct patient contact, professional growth and development, program evaluation, compliance with regulatory standards; and participating in process improvements to advance program objectives.

Work Schedule:

M-F, some weekends required based upon program needs. Travel is involved in this role including various HP hospitals and community events

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare
  • 2 years of experience in caring for stroke patients
  • Recommended experience as a group leader and/or project leader in clinical setting
  • Recommended experience with community outreach efforts
  • BLS Certification
  • Training in support group facilitation and program development.
  • Knowledge of stroke and the recovery process.
  • Ability to participate and grow community outreach efforts in collaboration with hospital stroke programs and research teams to meet Stroke INSPIRE program goals.
  • Highly motivated, goal directed, innovative, and self-directed.
  • Ability to manage time, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and navigate situations with professional conduct.
  • Exceptional communication & organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and use critical thinking skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Virtual Meetings.
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning principles.
  • Ability to counsel and educate stroke survivors, care givers and community members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in healthcare
