Job description

This is a Program Management Manager position under the F-16 Program in the Aeronautics Business Area, Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Line of Business. This position will serve as Program Manager in support of F-16 Readiness and Sustainment Solutions for various DCS and FMS programs. This role will have primary customer and end user interface with numerous customers across multiple countries for F-16 sustainment programs providing oversight in all related regions.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
Key Responsibilities:
Support capture through program transition and lead execution for portfolio activity to include, Basic Ordering Agreements, and F-16 modifications for both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts
Work with customers to define future modification and sustainment roadmaps to meet specific country missions
Oversee Requirements Development, Interpretation and configuration evolution to ensure each individual program capabilities are responsive to end users and executable at acceptable risk within contract price and schedule
Drive Earned Value Management requirements and ensure business processes are followed with respect to both FMS and DCS programs
Drive the Risk and Opportunity Management process into every facet of all programs
Ensure on-schedule availability of assets required to execute programs
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of programs assigned
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Collaborate with functional leaders to align resources necessary for successful program execution
Actively manage program On Time Delivery (30/60/90) and CPAR Performance
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program reviews with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
Demonstrates leadership, cultural awareness, and change management skills
This individual will be required to travel at least 25% of the time, including foreign travel to various customer sites.
***Must be US citizen and have ability to obtain SECRET clearance after hire. This position requires access to classified areas.
