Job description

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Project Control Specialist supporting the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps Contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide the government Project Office with programmatic and analytical support to develop and manage acquisition programs within the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AFF) within cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
  • Develop and maintain the program’s Integrated Master Schedule in accordance with current government policy.
  • Coordinate action item tracking and provide general day-to-day support of programmatic activities.
  • Support acquisition documentation development activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating documents, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, internal and external partners, and integrators for updates and changes to the system in coordination with Program Office guidance.
  • Support Program Office risk management activities.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings and conferences, capture and prepare meeting minutes, and provide presentation/ briefing support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of experience supporting DoW programs that rely on the Adaptive Acquisition Framework / DoD 5000. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have expertise in developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules for the DoW using MS Project.
  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Must have experience leading DoD Acquisitions professionals supporting varying competencies (e.g., Systems Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Program Analysis).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business or Technical degree.
  • DAU / WarU Program Management Practitioner certified (or equivalent). 
  • Knowledge of USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities including the preparation of acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Experience with SharePoint databases and MS Teams.

Clearance Required: Must have an active DoD Top Secret / SCI Clearance.

Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work.
