Job description

POSITION PURPOSE The Program Manager for Taos Alive position is responsible for overseeing, managing and assuring successful implementation of the Taos Alive Program. Organizes, facilitates and coordinates all activities required to maintain program operations and provide high-quality, accessible and culturally appropriate services and information for identified clients. Responsible for ensuring that contract requirements are met by collecting and analyzing program data, submitting all reports in a timely manner, overseeing program expenditures, promoting public awareness of the program, conducting outreach and coordinating with relevant community partners. In addition, the position provides reflective and administrative supervision to the Taos Alive staff.MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working directly in the field of substance-use prevention, social work/services, or related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year of working supervisory experience.
Education:
  • Associate Degree in public health, social work or related field.
 Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of provider schedule management and utilization.
  • Knowledge of front-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, government and commercial insurance processes.
  • Knowledge of substance use prevention, mentorship and reflective practice.
  • Experience building relationships.
  • Experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, performing complex tasks and prioritizing multiple activities/tasks.
  • Gather data, compile information, prepare reports, maintain recordkeeping systems/procedures.
  • Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of finance accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications
  • Two (2) years experience in the field of Substance Use Prevention
  • Bachelor’s Degree in public health, social work or related field.
  • Public Speaking skills
  • Knowledge of community, state and federal resources/services
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
