Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Program Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of programs within the organization. This role is pivotal in assisting program managers and staff in delivering high-quality services to clients, maintaining program documentation, and facilitating communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Facilitate communication between program staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials and communications.
- Support data collection and reporting efforts to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Handle general inquiries and provide information about programs and services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or program assistant role.
- Experience working in a behavioral health or social services setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
