Overview

Lutron is looking for highly motivated students to participate in our Technician Work-Study Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA and Boston Engineering office in Boston MA.


Responsibilities

A Technician Work Study position at Lutron provides hands on experience appropriate to your educational background while you gain exposure to a professional work environment. Students are integrated into our Engineering Technician team and on-the-job training is provided by your supervisor and co-workers. Our program offers responsibility, real world experience, and meaningful assignments along with personal mentoring and detailed training. We consider this program to be very valuable in our search for outstanding future members of our team and pride ourselves on providing superior work experiences to our students.  Responsibilities will vary based on your background and assigned team.


Qualifications
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
  • You are pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in an applicable technical background (Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Information Technology, Networking or Computer related Technology, or similar)
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least a 3.00
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are driven and self-motivated
 
Lutron is a team-oriented environment, and you will work within these teams to look at broad issues and identify root causes, not just quick fixes. You must have a willingness to ask tough questions, seek out new resources, and work hard to find the best solution for both the customer and the company.
 
Starting pay:
Coopersburg PA: $19.00/hr.
Boston MA: $24.00/hr.
