Job Description

THRIVE Program Assistant (A):
  • Greet and welcome students, faculty, and staff at the front desk
  • Assist in managing the THRIVE Department calendar
  • Initiate, receive, and respond to email and phone correspondence
  • Support administrative duties such as data entry, maintenance of supplies, and as-needed
  • Maintain an organized and clean shared space for all
  • Support in Social Media posts and engaging on social media platforms
  • Support for events and programming upon request
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through body language and demeanor
THRIVE Program Assistant (B/Program Support):
  • Assist the THRIVE Program Managers with specific projects like the Speakers Series,
  • Social gatherings, etc.
  • Support for events and programming upon request
  • Support THRIVE Program Managers with some administrative duties such as data entry,
  • maintenance of supplies, and as-needed
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through body language and demeanor
Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled at Augsburg University
  • Must be tech savvy (or willing to learn) in Google Suites, Canva.com, Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to engage and interact with students, faculty, and staff
  • Analyze and present quality over quantity in assigned tasks and possible office needs
  • Must maintain the privacy of sensitive student information, as required by federal FERPA
  • law
  • Must exhibit effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow directions and execute tasks in a timely manner
