Job description

Program Assistant Shift Leader CS (CV137-1) - Reentry Services Division

The successful applicant will report to a Program Manager and/or Assistant Director and will be a vital part of their team. They will take the lead role in the responsibility for a diverse range of matters including the coordination and monitoring of confidentiality, security and the special needs of each client. They will also conduct life skills workshops from time to time. They will have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to interact effectively with both clients and other team members in situations that can sometimes be stressful. Vital for success in the role will be the capacity to achieve an effective balance between set operational policies and procedures and the use of initiative as and when the need arises.

Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or a GED together with a valid driver's license. Previous work experience as a Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, Inc.
