Job description

GXM Technologies is seeking a mid-level Program Analyst to support a Federal Government program focused on advancing innovation, strengthening portfolio performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This position is based in Washington, DC and requires on-site work five days per week, with local and occasional nationwide travel to support client events as needed.
The Program Analyst will support a broad range of program management activities, including financial analysis, portfolio performance, risk assessment, due diligence, and operational support. Candidates will be assigned a primary functional area based on their experience and expertise, such as Financial Analysis & Portfolio Performance or Risk Assessment & Due Diligence, while collaborating across task areas to support evolving mission priorities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting Federal programs through research, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualified candidates will be interviewed in-person at the GXM Arlington office. Selected candidates will be fingerprinted and submitted for a background check prior to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, analyze program and financial data, and prepare reports to support Government decision-making.
  • Support budget tracking, financial reconciliations, grants administration, portfolio performance analysis, or due diligence activities, as assigned.
  • Review and validate data, identify trends or potential risks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and other analytical products for Government stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, tracking tools, and program records in accordance with Federal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and project team members to support program objectives and contract deliverables.
  • Provide cross-functional support across program areas as mission priorities and workload demands evolve.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Political Science, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience supporting Federal programs, financial analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, compliance, due diligence, and/or program management.
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Co-Pilot, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with AI tools and solutions.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts.
  • Experience with grant management and evaluation.
  • Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: 1. Financial analysis and portfolio management, 2. Budget planning, grants administration, or financial reconciliation, 3. Risk assessment, due diligence, or compliance, or 4. Performance measurement, reporting, or business process improvement
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, CRM tools (Salesforce), or similar reporting and collaboration tools.

$110,000 - $150,000 salary + annual bonus eligibility + medical/dental/vision/STD/LTD/Life + 401(k) + PTO
