The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.

We have an immediate need for a Senior Program Analyst to provide hybrid support out of Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

The candidate will assist the customer and team members on a wide array of program tasking to achieve program success. Manage project portfolios, track milestones, and identifying risk/opportunities. Track manage meeting actions, follow up with contributors, and report status Organize and lead teams filing sharing repository (KSN/MS Teams). Consolidate various contributor input to one "voice" document. Develop briefings scaled to targeted audience. Assist with acquisition-related documents, management tools, and artifacts. Ensure understanding and compliance with agency-specific regulations (e.g., FAA AMS, CFO, JRC, OMB). Actively participate in technical working groups with engineering, budget, schedule, and acquisition functional team members. Manage customer relationships and expectations, and work effectively on individual and team tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree; focus in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Management, or Policy Studies/Administration preferred
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Public Trust clearance
  • 15+ years of experience in government program analyst roles
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Products
  • Strong organizational background in gathering and interpreting information from multiple sources and excellent communication skills
  • Experience working on Federal Aviation Administration programs
  • Analytical involvement with government acquisition process

DC Transparency Salary Range: $125k-$145k.
