Job description

Join JRC's Missiles & Space Team!

We are seeking a Program Analyst to support a mission-critical U.S. Navy technical branch by managing workflows, prioritizing deliverables, and ensuring timely execution of program deadlines. This role involves overseeing integrated master schedules, managing travel, drafting Navy correspondence, conducting research and analysis, and maintaining program databases. The Program Analyst will work closely with the front office and Operations Manager, coordinating with stakeholders and program managers to track deliverables and report program actions to senior leadership. Additional responsibilities include reviewing, editing, and creating internal SSP documents related to the SLCM-N program.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a robust knowledge of Navy cultures and practices and will be the lead coordinator for high-level events for the division and industry partners
  • Execute high-level coordination efforts between the division head, chief of staff, their engineering and program staff, and SSP leadership including SESs, assembling program updates and reporting materials as needed on behalf of the branch head
  • Compose internal program status reporting on behalf of the division
  • Lead the division in technical writing of Naval Correspondence, assist in creating, reviewing, and editing technical documents, program briefings/instructions, meeting minutes, memorandums, formal letters, and other documentation
  • Lead weekly branch meetings, including drafting, editing presentations, and providing status updates to the technical branches
  • Assist the division head in coordinating travel and interfacing with the Defense Travel System (DTS).

What You Bring to the Table

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, programmatic development, and administrative excellence
  • Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Must have demonstrated experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS) for processing and managing official travel arrangements in compliance with DoD policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
