Summary

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking to hire an experience Logistics Analyst III -Material Fielding-with a Secret Clearance to act as a liaison between certain activities of Fielding Commands, Program Managers, and Gaining Units. The Logistics Analyst III will ensure effective application of the doctrine and practices of materiel fielding to assigned system(s).


Responsibilities

  • Interface with Fielding Commands to provide advice on fielding strategies and procedures. Prepare and present Total Package Fielding Briefings and other related briefings.
  • Prepare and/or ensure correctness and completeness of the materiel requirements list; performs materiel requirements list validation and coordination with gaining commands and units.
  • Direct monitoring of requisitioned packages; advise the fielding command as to the ability to field.
  • Plan and coordinate the movement of equipment packages to gaining unit locations.
  • Conduct on-site coordination with gaining commands/units to accomplish inventories of equipment packages and to accomplish transfer to assets to unit property accounts.
  • Participate in equipment configuration, assembly or installation, as required.
  • Provide reports of discrepancy and deficiency to the fielding command.
  • Write After-Action Reports and ILS Lessons Learned.
  • Direct post-fielding follow-up to ensure that the gaining unit receives all items of equipment due.
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:

Skills Required

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of military logistics systems.
  • Knowledge of materiel procedures.
  • Computer literate with Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications Required

  • Associate degree in related area and/or equivalent in a combination of experience, education, or training. Bachelor’s preferred
  • Three or more years’ experience in materiel fielding or providing logistics support for communications, medical, or similarly complex systems.
  • Must be willing to travel on short notice to world-wide locations and remain in travel status for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to secure and retain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a driver’s license. Passport required.
  • Work On-Site in Ft. Detrick, MD., 70-80 % travel, can be weeks at a time.
