Job description

Schedule: Monday through Friday 11am-7pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere in reception area
  • Greet all members and visitors and notify appropriate staff of visitor as needed
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel
  • Assist in collecting daily meal contributions from members and guests
  • Keep daily log for members and visitors
  • Enter participant data into funding source database
  • Receive and sort packages and other correspondence
  • Other related duties as required by the Director

COMPETENCIES

  • Some knowledge of and a genuine concern for the physical, mental and emotional needs of older persons
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required, with ability to learn data base maintenance
