Elementary EL Summer Enrichment Program Aide Positions

Summer 2026 (for the 20252026 School Year)
PROGRAMLOCATION: Missituk Elementary School 

Nature and Scope
Medford Public Schools seeks instructional aides to support the Summer 2026 Elementary English Learner (EL) Enrichment Program for students currently in grades K5. The program blends English language development, literacy, and math instruction with engaging enrichment activities. Aides will work closely with classroom teachers to support instruction, student engagement, and daily program operations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all summer school procedures and district protocols
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons aligned to WIDA, ELA, and Math standards
  • Provide small-group and individualized student support as directed by the classroom teacher
  • Assist with preparation of instructional materials and classroom organization
  • Reinforce academic and enrichment activities
  • Maintain student attendance records as directed
  • Assist with supervision during transitions and enrichment activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Experience working with English Learners and/or multilingual students preferred
  • Ability to follow teacher direction and work collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills with students and staff

Rate and Schedule

  • $26 per hour
     Mondays through Thursdays, 8:15 a.m. 12:15 p.m. (Students attend 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m.)
  • Program Dates:
     Monday, June 29, 2026 Thursday, July 23, 2026
  • 16 days at 4 hours per day
     Total: 64 hours ($1,664), pending Title III grant funding
