Amergis Educational Staffing is actively seeking Inclusion Aides (Behavior Technicians) to support afterschool programs across multiple school sites in San Diego County.

About the Opportunity

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with one of San Diego County's leading afterschool program providers to staff multiple school locations throughout the region. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and student-centered professionals to join our team as Inclusion Aides (Behavior Technicians).

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support student growth, foster inclusion, and positively impact the educational experience of children who benefit from individualized assistance in an afterschool setting.

Position OverviewInclusion Aide (Behavior Technician)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral, developmental, and learning needs.
  • Assist students in successfully participating in afterschool activities and enrichment programs.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, educators, and program staff to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behavior, social engagement, and student independence while maintaining a safe and structured setting.
Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 48 completed college units
  • Current in-person BLS Certification or the ability to obtain certification prior to the start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children in schools, afterschool programs, childcare centers, camps, tutoring programs, or related settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to student success
  • Ability to maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment
Schedule & Hours
  • Monday through Friday
  • Afterschool hours, typically 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM
