Inclusion Aide (After-School Program)

$25/hour | Multiple Locations Throughout San Diego County

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring Inclusion Aides for after-school programs throughout San Diego County, with openings available from Poway to Chula Vista and east to La Mesa and El Cajon.

Position Overview

As an Inclusion Aide, you will provide one-on-one support to a student participating in an after-school program. Your role is to encourage positive behavior, support social interaction, and help the student successfully engage in activities alongside their peers.

You will work closely with program staff to ensure students have a safe, positive, and inclusive experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to assigned student(s)
  • Assist with behavior management and redirection strategies
  • Promote student participation in group activities and social interactions
  • Support inclusion within the larger after-school program
  • Monitor student safety and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with program staff and supervisors
  • Assist students with personal or mobility needs as directed
  • Document and report observations as required
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • Availability required between 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Typical shifts begin between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and end between 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Full schedules and part-time substitute opportunities available

Minimum Requirements
