Job description

Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing the entire account-service process, marketing clients to various carriers, responding to client inquiries regarding coverage and eligibility, ensuring the accuracy of policies, endorsements, EOIs, and audits, and maintaining organized and accurate account files.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Managing a personal lines book of business consisting of mid-market accounts to include maintaining organized and accurate account files in the agency management system

  • Work closely with a sales producer and other team members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals while adhering to HUB's best practices and standard procedures

  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, you will be responsible for resolving any service issues, as well negotiating with underwriters and troubleshooting claims and billing issues

  • Understand clients' insurance objectives and critical analysis are required to compare insurance plans for suitability

  • Explore cross-selling opportunities from existing accounts, when appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • One or more years of customer service or account management experience, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, underwriters, and colleagues.

  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Familiarity with Adobe, DocuSign, and AI tools helpful.

  • Must have Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license or obtain the license within 60 days of employment. Must maintain license throughout employment.
