Job description

Agilix Solutions is seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships. This individual must be a self-starter, have a high sense of urgency, and be able to work with tight deadlines on planning, pricing, and follow-up.

Responsible for selling into the Electrical Construction Market, this individual will be accountable for maintaining and creating market acceptance of our current products along with developing new customer accounts for future growth.

This role will report to the Vice President, South Region.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing accounts while also prospecting additional account growth opportunities amongst electrical contractors and general contractors. This includes account research, supporting sales events, networking, vendor events, vendor relationship development and fluency in Agilix computer programs.
  • Contacts assigned and prospective accounts to expand existing business and secure new business.
  • Execute profitable business plans for managing accounts and driving sales while improving profitability.
  • Maximize account profit margin through customer and vendor engagement and strategic pricing with key vendors.
  • Drive profitability through value added service including value engineering and on-site services.
  • Interacts with customers, vendors, and associates to manage customer and service-related opportunities.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of Quality, Morals and Ethics while conducting Business.
  • Participate and support all Company Initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated Outside Sales successful selling in the Electrical Construction Market preferred.
  • Preferred individual will be experienced with providing outstanding customer service, creating, and maintaining customer relationships, and have strong networking skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).


Physical Requirements

  • Requires prolonged periods of driving, getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day, standing/walking at customer sites, as well as sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.
