Work you'll do

As a Profitability Costing Allocations Senior Manager, on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by identifying and addressing complex business issues and delivering service excellence across finance transformation engagements
  • Lead responses to requests for proposals and other client opportunities by shaping solution approaches and guiding pursuit teams
  • Leverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to drive delivery transformation
  • Lead and oversee multiple project teams across large and complex engagements, ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of deliverables
  • Oversee and validate analyses to ensure recommendations align with client objectives, engagement priorities, and broader business context
  • Lead the design and implementation of profitability, costing, and allocation methodologies while leveraging SAP Profitability and Performance Management / Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM) or other advanced analytics to deliver strategic insights
  • Steer the development and deployment of technology-enabled business solutions, including automation and machine learning, while managing and developing diverse teams through mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of technical or advisory-related experience in profitability reporting, product or service costing, and cost allocations
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience leading teams on complex projects; 4+ years of experience overseeing multiple project teams, leading change initiatives in a project management role, and managing project or resource budgets
  • 4+ years of experience working with and managing data sets, including extracting and merging data from source systems, transforming data, and performing descriptive analytics; 3+ years of experience with SAP BW/4HANA, native SAP HANA modeling, or SAP Profitability and Performance Management; experience with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, and request for proposal activities
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Accounting, or Master of Economics
  • Experience advising finance or global business services leaders on operating model, process, data, or technology transformation
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, automation, or digital finance use cases

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $193,700 to $322,900.
