Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law is seeking to recruit a diverse pool of individuals who would be interested in serving as part time adjunct faculty to teach law courses offered as day or evening classes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

This is an OPEN POOL position and there may not be openings available at this time. However, positions will be filled on an as needed basis from the available pool of applicants we have on file.

Teach for 13 weeks during Fall or Spring Semester or for 7 weeks during Summer term. Class times vary depending on the credit hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree required with a concentration in English or Communications preferred.

Ph.D. preferred.

Experience in teaching or at least 5 years of relevant law-related employment.

Commitment to the mission of the Law School and its curricular and instructional methods and goals.
