In addition, this role actively contributes to the education and training of learners, including medical students, residents, fellows, or other trainees, and participates in departmental and divisional academic activities.Job Description:

Job Duties

  • Provide patient care in ambulatory clinic, inpatient consults and on-call services. Model best practices for diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions.

  • Complete appropriate documentation of patient encounters for medical follow-up and timely billing.

  • Instruct medical students, residents and fellows in clinical and classroom settings. Coach and guide learners appropriate to their educations level. Evaluate learner's progress.

  • Contribute to various research activities of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Genetics. Research could include trials or grant funded studies.

  • Participate in Division, Department, and School faculty activities as allowed by schedule constraints.

Required Qualifications

Education: MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent.
