Position Summary
Job Description:
York College of Pennsylvania's Graham School of Business (GSB) is seeking a Visiting Professor of Analytics & Cybersecurity for a one-year appointment. The Visiting Professor of Analytics & Cybersecurity is a full-time, in-person position with the following responsibilities: teach in-person, undergraduate classes (4 per semester) and provide academic support for students. The successful candidate will most likely teach 2 sections each of QBA260 Data Driven Decision Making and QBA265 Intro to Analytics in fall 2027 and 2 sections of CYB100 Infowars, one section of CYB300 Emerging Technology Trends, and one section of CYB380 Special Topics in Cyber in spring 2028, although specific course assignments are subject to change based on the needs of the school. Additional overload teaching may be a possibility if a candidate wants to teach additional sections, depending on the needs of the GSB.
Essential Functions
  • Teaching four 3-credit, face-to-face courses each semester (fall and spring) as assigned.
  • Providing academic and course support to GSB students in your classes.

Experience and Education Required
  • Master's degree in a business discipline, doctorate preferred.
  • Experience teaching face-to-face undergraduate analytics and/or cybersecurity courses at the college level is required.
  • Work experience in the discipline that will translate well to the classroom is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong teaching skills as demonstrated by teaching evaluations and a teaching demonstration during the interview are required.
  • Express commitment to utilizing experiential learning pedagogies is required; experience with experiential learning pedagogies, particularly project-based learning, is preferred.
  • Expertise in analytics and cybersecurity are required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team are required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship is required.
  • Required to relocate to area or to reside within commutable distance to campus.
