Administrative Professional

Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $22.00

Candidate must live in Humboldt County and report to Eureka office

Experience with PG&E property would be desired

JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Professional is responsible for providing day-to-day support and administrative assistance to the field operations team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all levels of employees, vendors, and guests.
  • Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail.
  • May process invoices into internal systems and identify and correct timesheet errors.
  • Process and organize incoming work requests. Read and respond to correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of employees, customers, and outside vendors.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as tracking, compiling information of interest, and project-related support.
  • Create and generate reports through internal systems for data analysis. Manage and maintain assigned spreadsheets.
  • May assist with tracking and maintaining employee credentials to ensure compliance with customer, company and state requirements.
  • Assist with general office duties and provide administrative support, such as ordering office supplies, organizing office supplies, organizing supplies and equipment, dispersing mail, registration renewals, etc.
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

  • May be called upon to assist with special operational projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience or related professional work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record, if driving a company-issued vehicle

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat products utilizing the latest operating system. Experience with data collection software is preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather, as needed
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, and guests.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility, and self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: The physical activities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking, and standing functions. The position also often involves sedentary work where sitting is required most of the time, with occasional standing or walking. The position also requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must be able to perform activities with close visual acuity, such as reading a computer screen and reading print material. The functions of this position are conducted in a temperature-controlled environment.

INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. This position requires the ability to deal with and find a resolution to problems and maintain a productive working relationship with employees which may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities daily while being responsive to needs as they arise.
