JOB SUMMARY: [CUSTOMIZE PER POSITION] The OES digital content creator produces visually compelling stories via social media and the school website that share glimpses into everyday school life and activities of OES. This creator works autonomously to create quickly-digested content with interesting photos, mini-video moments, and brief narratives. This position works closely with all school divisions and departments to stay in touch with school activities and student involvement so that the heart and essence of OES can be communicated to all audiences. In addition, this position helps make sure the school website remains current with the latest informational updates around the school, with special attention paid to the home page and frequently-visited areas of the site. The digital content creator works in partnership with the contracted webmaster to address larger problems and build out new areas of the website as needed. The digital content creator builds visually pleasing mass emails for the Advancement office and manages templates for emails other departments can use. This role is responsible for keeping up with all Pre-K-12 school activities to provide content for social media and help generate interest in upcoming events for all stakeholders across all digital channels. This role also serves as the tracker, recorder, and analyst of digital traffic and statistics. The successful content creator is collaborative, innovative, and possesses the ability to consistently apply an equity and inclusion lens to the work of telling the story OES.
