Junior Webmaster / Graphic Artist
Location: Fort Lee, VA
Clearance: Active Secret (Required)
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Join the CASCOM G-6 team supporting mission-critical communications by creating and maintaining graphics, web content, and visual products used across Army training and operational environments. This role blends graphic design and junior web support, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and visually effective content.
Responsibilities
  • Design, create, edit, and reproduce graphics and artwork aligned with organizational requirements and branding standards
  • Develop graphic and web design products using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Suite, and media tools
  • Collaborate with content owners, departments, and stakeholders to develop visual solutions for publications, presentations, and web content
  • Produce final publication-ready graphics for both digital and print use, including presentations, web pages, and internal communications
  • Perform basic website maintenance and updates, including minor content changes and administrative support for G-6 web platforms
  • Assist in maintaining web-based services and content, ensuring accuracy and visual consistency
  • Ensure all graphics and web content comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and DoD EIT requirements
  • Support the development of visually engaging content that enhances communication and user experience across platforms
  • Maintain organization and version control of graphic and media assets

Required Experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, web design, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or equivalent)
    • Microsoft Office tools for presentations and media content
  • Experience creating:
    • Graphics for web, print, and presentations
    • Basic web content and page updates
  • Familiarity with:
    • HTML/CSS (basic level preferred)
    • Section 508 accessibility standards
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback

Education / Certifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia, or related field
    (OR equivalent combination of education and experience)
